NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency Implant Dentistry Program works closely with the general practice dental residents to provide patients with both restorative and surgical solutions to address their oral rehabilitation needs. In the resident dental implant clinic, patients are treatment planned using a prosthetically driven approach working closely with restorative dentists. Residents will become proficient in treatment planning using a full digital workflow including CBCT images, intraoral scanners, 3d printers, and the latest implant planning software. Precise surgery takes place in the clinic and operating room with the aid of surgical guides or dynamic 3D intra-operative navigation. Complex full arch rehabilitation takes place in-house with a multi-disciplinary approach between surgery, dental, and lab technician support.
