The Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Weill Cornell Medicine provides high-quality care in the full spectrum of plastic, reconstructive and aesthetic surgery. Our academically-based program provides treatment for conditions and deformities related to trauma, cancer, and a wide range of elective cosmetic procedures.
The division, which is part of the Department of Surgery, is dedicated to providing the finest in patient care. We offer a full range of plastic and reconstructive services in New York City, based on proven strategies and cutting-edge research and technology.
Surgeons in the Division of Plastic Surgery are world-renowned leaders in their field and offer a wealth of experience and technical expertise. They routinely apply minimal access techniques and technological advances to dramatically shorten recovery time and improve patient outcomes.
Our specialties include a congenital and craniofacial pediatric surgery program that is a leader in the care for children with complex facial deformities. Through this program, we are helping to transform the lives of young patients struggling with these disfigurements. In addition, members of our surgical team regularly organize and participate in non-profit missions to other countries, including Colombia, Honduras, Ecuador, and China to treat children with cleft lips, cleft palates, and other craniofacial conditions.
Our experts are also researchers who actively work to develop new and better plastic and reconstructive surgical procedures that shorten recovery time and improve quality of life.
As faculty members of Weill Cornell Medical College, our surgeons also pass down their expertise to future generations of plastic and reconstructive surgeons through specialized training programs.
