Chinyere Ryan

Chinyere Ryan

My name is Chinyere Ryan, and I am a recent breast cancer survivor. Eleven years prior to my breast cancer and double mastectomy, I was afflicted with Guillian-Barre. While some doctors told me I would never walk again, I never gave up, and I am now living a full, active life. I attribute my ability to overcome these trying, emotional setbacks to my being an eternal optimist. When life throws you a curve, you must always look toward the light at the end of the tunnel, and know you will prevail. Each day I embrace the sunrise, get up and take a step forward, no matter how small, “ inch by inch we crawl.”
